Job summary

Plymouth Tube Company - Trent is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift (3pm–11pm) to keep equipment reliable and available. The role focuses on reducing downtime, performing preventive and predictive maintenance, and driving continuous improvement across the plant.

The ideal candidate will have 2-year Electro-Mechanical training and significant experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and maintenance best practices.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-year electro-mechanical technical degree or equivalent.
• Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs; 5+ years preferred.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Actively participate as part of the maintenance team to increase runtime.
• Execute PM, Proactive, and Predictive maintenance techniques.
• Breakdown troubleshooting and corrective action.
• Work Order execution and root cause analysis.
• Equipment installation and improvement.
• Hazardous waste management and related compliance.
• Assist transfer and staging of hazardous waste.
• Complete required safety training (RCRA & DOT).
• Inspect Satellite Accumulation Areas and assist with shipping logistics.
