Job summary

Oatey is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the industrial maintenance and engineering teams on the production floor in Cleveland, OH. The role applies hands-on maintenance skills and applied engineering knowledge to keep production equipment running efficiently.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years as an industrial maintenance technician, with proficiency in PLCs, diagnostics, and electrical/hydraulic systems, plus a willingness to complete HazMat training.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years as a professional industrial maintenance technician
• Two-year associate degree in engineering or manufacturing tech
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
• Ability to read schematics and diagnose equipment
• Willingness to complete HazMat 24-hour training

Responsibilities

• Provide tactical and strategic floor guidance on maintenance and uptime
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and production leadership to focus shift maintenance on safety and production
• Ensure effective communication of equipment status and maintenance progress
