Job summary

Oatey is seeking an Engineering Technician to support the industrial maintenance and engineering teams on the production floor of a 24-hour operation in Cleveland, OH. The role applies skills from an engineering/technology degree program to keep production equipment running reliably.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, guiding floor maintenance, and coordinating with plant leadership to prioritize safety and uptime. Associates degree required with strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years as an industrial maintenance technician or related training program.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Willingness to complete Haz Mat refresher and follow Lock Out Tag Out procedures.

Responsibilities

• This position includes and expands on the job requirements of the Industrial Maintenance Technician II role.
• Provide tactical and strategic guidance on the floor to support equipment uptime and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and production leadership to ensure safe and productive shift maintenance.
