Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services in Pennsylvania seeks a PLC Controls Engineer to join its growing technical team. You will troubleshoot, design, program and commission control systems for industrial applications, with hands-on work on drives, HMIs, networks, and documentation.

Required: 2+ years in PLC controls, strong AB PLCs/HMIs, reading/writing AutoCAD electrical drawings, and excellent communication. Travel occasionally and valid driver’s license are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in PLC controls, automation engineering, or a related role.
• Strong experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
• Proven troubleshooting skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable reading and creating AutoCAD electrical drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required).
• Organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and support PLC-based control systems, including drives, HMIs, networks, and related components.

• Build and support control panels in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

• Identify technical risks and contribute to practical, reliable solutions.

A well-established industrial automation organization is seeking a PLC Controls Engineer to join its growing technical team. This role offers hands-on involvement with complex control systems, customer-facing problem solving, and the opportunity to work across a variety of industrial environments.

What You’ll Do

Troubleshoot and support PLC-based control systems, including drives, HMIs, networks, and related components

Design, program, and modify control systems for industrial applications

What We’re Looking For
