Job summary

Complete Playground in New York City is seeking a friendly, energetic Associate to be the face of the venue at the front desk and help manage play areas. You will greet families, process admissions, supervise the playground, coordinate events, and help keep the facility clean and safe while delivering a warm, inclusive experience for children and neurodiverse families.

This hybrid role requires organization, reliability, and strong communication, with weekend, holiday, and occasional evening

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-traffic, fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, patient, and approachable, especially with children and neurodiverse families.
• Proficient in basic computer systems (e.g., POS systems, Microsoft Office).
• Physical stamina to stand, move, and remain alert for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Previous experience in customer service, reception, or working with children is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet families, manage check-ins, process payments, and handle admissions for play sessions, classes, and events.
• Oversee playground safety and monitor equipment while enforcing rules.
• Answer calls and emails; provide guidance on hours, services, and safety rules.
• Assist with bookings, scheduling, and check-ins for birthday parties and private events.
• Maintain an organized front desk and tidy playground; report maintenance issues.
• Respond to emergencies per policies and handle customer feedback professionally.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming experience.
