Overview
We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and versatile individual to join our team as an Associate. In this role, you will be the face of Complete Playground at the front desk, ensuring a safe, high‑energy environment and maintaining the playground floor. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for children and families while troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Admissions/Front Desk: Greet families, manage check‑ins, process payments, and handle admissions for play sessions, classes, and special events.
- Maintain an organized front desk, restocking items and performing light cleaning duties such as wiping counters and sweeping floor.
- Communication/Front Desk: Answer phone calls and emails regarding facility hours, services, and policies; provide clear guidance on safety rules and sensory space usage.
- Event Support/Front Desk: Assist with bookings, scheduling, and check‑ins for birthday parties and private events.
- Playground Supervision/Floor: Oversee the play areas to ensure safety and well‑being of all guests, monitoring equipment and enforcing rules to prevent unsafe behavior.
- Facility Maintenance/Floor: Organize and tidy all playground areas, report maintenance issues, and keep the facility clean and vibrant.
- Safety & Support: Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents per company policies and handle customer feedback or concerns with patience and professionalism.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and a seamless experience for every family.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high‑traffic, fast‑paced environment.
- Friendly, patient, and approachable, especially when interacting with children and neurodiverse families.
- Proficient in basic computer systems (e.g., POS systems, Microsoft Office).
- Physical stamina to stand, move, and remain alert for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Previous experience in customer service, reception, or working with children is preferred.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed.
