COMPLETE PLAYGROUND INC in New York City seeks a friendly, energetic Associate to be the face of the playground at the front desk, greet families, and manage admissions while ensuring a safe, high-energy environment.

You will handle check-ins, process payments, answer questions about hours, classes, and events, supervise play spaces, and collaborate with a small team to maintain a welcoming, inclusive space for children and neurodiverse families.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-traffic environment.
• Friendly, patient, and approachable with children and families, including neurodiverse individuals.
• Proficient in basic computer systems (POS, MS Office).
• Physical stamina to stand and move for extended periods; able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Reliable and punctual with strong sense of responsibility.
• Previous experience in customer service, reception, or working with children preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and some evenings.

Responsibilities

• Admissions/Front Desk: Greet families, manage check-ins, process payments, and handle admissions for sessions, classes, and events.
• Maintain an organized front desk and perform light cleaning (wipe counters, sweep floors).
• Answer calls and emails about hours, services, and policies; guide safety rules and sensory space usage.
• Assist with bookings, scheduling, and check-ins for parties and private events.
• Oversee play areas to ensure safety and well-being of guests; enforce rules.
• Organize and tidy playground areas; report maintenance issues; keep facility clean and vibrant.
• Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents per policy and manage customer feedback with professionalism.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming experience for families.
