Job summary

Nicolet National Bank is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to drive new customer acquisition and deepen relationships. You will lead daily branch execution, coach Universal Bankers, and ensure exceptional customer service across channels while maintaining compliance and operational discipline.

With 3–5 years of retail banking experience and a focus on development, you will oversee deposits and lending referrals, manage branch activities, and represent the branch in community events.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail banking experience with success in frontline roles (UB/PB) and prior coaching/leadership preferred.
• Customer-facing skills with the ability to coach others on needs-based conversations and service excellence.
• Experience opening consumer deposit accounts and delivering referrals across lines of business; exposure to branch operations and control processes.

Responsibilities

• Sales Leadership & Relationship Growth: drive new customers and deepen relationships; coach UB teammates; maintain personal referral goals.
• Customer Experience & Issue Resolution: ensure frictionless service across in-person, phone, and digital channels; monitor queue management.
• Talent Development & Team Coaching: provide coaching plans, succession planning, inclusivity.
• Daily Branch Administration & Execution: oversee opening/closing, scheduling, dashboards, corrective actions.
• Community Presence & Brand Stewardship: participate in local events and strengthen referral networks.
