Job summary

Geater Machining & Manufacturing, Co is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize plating processes and production lines in Iowa. The role leads startup of new plating lines, ensures process stability, and drives continuous improvement in quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

The engineer will develop process parameters, operating procedures, and SOPs while managing chemical inventories and ensuring OSHA/EPA/NADCAP compliance through proactive root cause

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead the installations, setup, and commissioning of new plating lines.
• Develop process parameters and operating procedures.
• Develop and optimize plating processes.
• Manage chemical inventory procedures.
• Implement root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NADCAP, and local environmental regulations.
• Oversee wastewater treatment and chemical handling procedures.
• Develop standard operating procedures for plating processes.
