Geater Machining & Manufacturing, Co is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to design, implement, and optimize plating processes and production lines in Iowa. The role leads startup of new plating lines, ensures process stability, and drives continuous improvement in quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
The engineer will develop process parameters, operating procedures, and SOPs while managing chemical inventories and ensuring OSHA/EPA/NADCAP compliance through proactive root cause
Position Summary:
The Chemical Process Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, commissioning, and optimizing plating processes and production lines. This role leads the startup of new plating lines, ensures process stability, maintains chemical performance, and drives continuous improvement in quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

This person will work in the office area; temperature controlled environment with moderate noise. Often he or she will spend a significant amount of time out in the plant working with operators. The plant setting involves manufacturing equipment with others working in close proximity.
