Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (Vishay Dale Electronics – Columbus, NE) seeks a Plating Process Engineer to lead plating operations and regulatory compliance. You will apply chemical engineering methods to plating processes, formulate solutions, and train staff across lab, production, and maintenance teams.

Req: 5–7 years in process/manufacturing engineering, a BS in Chemical Engineering, and strong data analysis with Excel and lean principles. Travel and safety training are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering required.
• 5–7 years’ experience in process/manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Experience with plating processes and environmental compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide plating process engineering for resistor/inductor division.
• Maintain chemical storage, disposal and effluent treatment processes.
• Develop plating solutions and documented processes; train staff.
• Analyze plating solutions and monitor environmental/quality metrics.
• Ensure compliance with hazardous waste programs and regulations.
