Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced electroplating/process engineer to lead metal finishing programs for aerospace and industrial applications. You will develop specifications, optimize processes, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and suppliers to ensure top-tier performance while maintaining safety and compliance.

The role requires 3–10 years in plating, a chemical engineering background, and experience with QA testing, Lean/SC, and NADCAP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related science.
• 3–10 years of electro-plating or plating experience in an R&D or process role.
• Experience in a metal finishing operation for aerospace/military connectors.
• Training in Lean, Continuous Improvement and SPC.
• Desirable Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and AESF MSF/CEF credentials.
• Knowledge of NADCAP specifications and customer requirements.

Responsabilités

• Initiate and supervise metal and plastic finishing programs with specifications and layouts.
• Establish and track QA testing for connectors (salt spray, taber abrasion, corrosion) per specs.
• Identify and evaluate new plating systems for product improvement and cost reduction.
• Provide engineering support to customer inquiries as required.
• Review and revise processes and documentation to maintain validity.
• Coordinate corrective action for out-of-control production events and establish defect-correcting procedures.
• Provide immediate process troubleshooting to support delivery and quality goals.
• Support plating team to meet safety and environmental targets.
• Collaborate with vendors to adapt equipment for plating applications and requirements.
• Develop process flow diagrams for new/existing products.
