Job summary

Micro-Coax, an Amphenol Company, is seeking a Manufacturing Lead for the Plating value stream in a US facility. You will coordinate daily production activities, guide operators and planners, and drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery goals.

The role emphasizes Lean practices, 5S discipline, and cross-functional teamwork to optimize flow, resolve issues, and continuously improve performance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three years in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing or cellular manufacturing.
• Knowledge of 5S and Lean continuous improvement.
• Experience in aerospace/defense or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the flow of work and materials to meet production schedules.
• Assign daily activities to team members to optimize productivity.
• Ensure work centers are staffed and prepared for schedules.
• Identify and stage materials, tooling, and equipment.
• Lead daily Gemba walks and escalate issues.
• Maintain 5S, safety, and quality standards while tracking KPIs.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to resolve barriers.
