Job summary

Radio Design Labs Inc. seeks a manufacturing engineering leader to drive processes on the factory floor, shaping how new products enter production and solving ongoing manufacturing challenges.

You will lead the Manufacturing Engineering team, collaborate with Product Engineering, Quality, and Production, and apply Lean principles, data analysis, and hands-on problem solving to improve productivity, throughput, and quality on electronics, SMT, PCB assembly, and metal fabrication lines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with technical leadership or supervisory responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with electronics manufacturing, SMT, PCB assembly, or metal fabrication.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, ERP systems, manufacturing documentation, and engineering change processes.
• History of improving productivity and implementing sustainable process changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team; set priorities for projects and production needs.
• Improve processes using Lean principles, data analysis, experiments, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Engineering on manufacturability of designs to ensure safety and cost‑effectiveness.
• Develop manufacturing methods, tooling, fixtures, and process validation for new products.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects, equipment issues, and process failures.
• Oversee engineering changes, BOMs, routings, work instructions, and production docs in ERP.
• Assess equipment and automation opportunities; plan preventive maintenance and improve reliability.
