Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7-10 years of experience in Information Technology.
• 5+ years of experience managing IT staff.
• Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial and open-source IT hardware, software, and services.
• Ability to manage a matrixed workforce and drive cross-team collaboration.
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Security clearance under DoD 8140; Security+ or equivalent certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT activities across infrastructure, applications, networks, cloud services, security, and compliance.
• Ensure continuity of computer, network, and application services through leadership and planning.
• Align IT services with business processes and customer requirements while pursuing continuous improvement.
• Perform analysis, estimation, design reviews, and resource planning with quality oversight.
• Forecast costs and resources; manage budgets and budget reporting.
• Recommend and implement hardware/software upgrades for IT assets.
• Develop and coordinate IT policies, procedures, and standards.
• Audit systems, ensure data security, and maintain backup readiness.
• Identify issues, analyze root causes, and implement strategic improvements.
• Oversee short- and long-range system plans and project feasibility with monitoring and audits.
• Lead staff, recruit, set expectations, conduct performance reviews, and coach team members.
