Job summary

CrowdStrike is seeking a Software Engineer in Product Security to help protect our Security Cloud by building security tooling and automation across our Product Security org. You will develop a platform of applications, APIs and frameworks that enable engineers to safeguard a global, multi-cloud production environment.

You will contribute to design, implementation and delivery of secure systems, with leadership in CI/CD, telemetry, and incident response.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Software Engineering role (event-driven systems, data ingestion pipelines, internal automation tools)
• Experience developing in Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or Typescript
• In-depth understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containers, cryptographic signing, and OSS dependencies
• Experience with data engineering and datastore/queue operations (OpenSearch, Valkey, Postgres, Kafka, SQS, etc.)
• Experience managing end-to-end SDLC with stakeholder engagement and outcomes
• Experience with Generative AI and related services
• Experience with configuration management/orchestration tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt, Puppet)
• Experience in a Product Security role; SaaS background is a bonus
• Broad awareness of cybersecurity landscape including adversaries, modes of interest, and TTPs
• Experience monitoring/analyzing telemetry data from applications and infrastructure
• Experience in Security Operations and/or Incident Response
• Experience with cloud-scale Linux environments; AWS or GCP preferred
• Ability to work independently with team collaboration when needed

Responsibilities

• Be a technical contributor on a global software engineering team in Product Security
• Design and implement software and automation tools for security use cases like software supply chain security and AI-powered vulnerability discovery
• Partner with Product Security teams to develop tooling strategy through risk assessments and architecture reviews
• Own SRE excellence, CI/CD, and datastore operations for mission-critical security services
