Job summary

Konica Minolta is seeking a senior platform engineer to own the production database, middleware, and web platform ecosystems. You will ensure reliability, security, and continuity of systems underpinning operations and customer applications, while partnering with IT leadership to modernize the legacy footprint.

You will drive SSL/TLS lifecycle management, SQL Server tuning, Windows and Linux administration, and on‑call production support.

Qualifications

• Proven production experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments including SSIS, SQL Agent, linked servers, and T‑SQL.
• Demonstrated ability to tune SQL queries, SSIS packages, and batch processes for performance.
• Hands‑on Linux/RHEL administration including shell scripting, cron, patching, and web stack operations.
• End‑to‑end SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management across web servers and Java keystores.
• DNS record management and domain registrar relationships in a production environment.
• IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration including deployment and troubleshooting.
• OpenLDAP directory administration including load balancer config and clustering.
• Windows Server administration including SQL Agent jobs and RDP management.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor enterprise database, middleware, and web platform systems daily; triage error logs and alert queues.
• Manage scheduled automation including SQL Agent and Linux cron jobs.
• Deploy and maintain applications across WebSphere, OpenLiberty, and Apache/PHP environments.
• Perform OS and application patching across Linux and Windows Server.
• Own SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle across web servers and app servers.
• Manage DNS records across registrars.
• Support vulnerability management reporting and remediation within SLA windows.
• Serve as primary on‑call escalation for production outages across platform tiers.
• Diagnose and resolve failures across the full platform stack (network→web→app→db).
• Tune queries and batch processes for performance and reliability across SQL Server and other DB platforms.
• Maintain integrations across middleware, ETL pipelines, and data flows between systems.
• Support MuleSoft deployments including server health and middleware dependencies.
• Evaluate legacy scheduling migration to enterprise platforms and modernization candidates.
• Introduce configuration‑as‑code practices to replace manual configuration.
