• Ensure smooth day to day operations of Giant Eagles Enterprise Platforms
• Support automating away as much of the day to day as possible – “Run by Robots” is the goal.
• Contribute to organization-wide best practices for monitoring, alerting and incident management.
• Collaborate on ensuring the reliability and operational readiness of solutions (High Avail, DR test, self-recovery).
• Identify, respond to, and collaborate with support and product teams to assess and resolve production and customer issues and incidents.
• Help deliver new capabilities, services and offerings while working to transition to Infrastructure as Code with an operations-focused point of view.
• Participate in Enterprise Change and ITIL processes and collaborate to provide continuous improvement.
• Provide on‑call, 24/7 support for production systems on a rotating basis.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise on key software solutions within the team’s solution portfolio and remain abreast of the team’s entire solution portfolio.
• Remain abreast of industry technical trends and maintain continuous development of current skills to broaden experience across the team’s entire solution portfolio and tech stacks.
