Job summary

Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. seeks a seasoned Platform Operations Administrator to own and operate our database, middleware, and web platform ecosystem.

You will ensure production reliability, security, and continuity while partnering with IT leadership to modernize legacy footprints and support a self-hosted AI platform infrastructure. You will manage SQL Server environments, Windows/Linux servers, SSL/TLS lifecycles, DNS, and on-call production control.

Qualifications

• Proven production experience administering Microsoft SQL Server environments including SSIS, SQL Agent scheduling, linked servers, and T‑SQL development.
• Ability to tune and optimize SQL queries, SSIS packages, and batch processes for reliability and performance.
• Hands-on Linux/RHEL administration including shell scripting, cron management, patching, and web stack operations.
• End-to-end SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle management across web servers and Java keystores.
• DNS record management and registrar relationships in a production enterprise.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration and deployment.
• OpenLDAP directory administration including load balancer configuration, automation, and clustering.
• Windows Server administration including SQL Agent jobs and OS-level operations.
• PowerShell and/or Bash scripting for automation and recurring tasks.
• Systematic incident diagnosis and resolution across a multi-tier stack.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor enterprise database, middleware, and web platform systems daily; triage error logs and alert queues.
• Manage and maintain scheduled automation including SQL Agent, Linux cron jobs, and payroll load processing.
• Deploy and maintain applications across WebSphere (WAS), OpenLiberty, and Apache/PHP stacks.
• Patch OS and applications across Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Own end-to-end SSL/TLS certificate lifecycle across web servers and app servers.
• Manage DNS records and domain registrations across multiple registrars.
• Support vulnerability management and drive remediation within SLA windows.
• Serve as primary on-call escalation for production outages across platform tiers.
• Diagnose and resolve failures across the full platform stack (network → web → app → database).
• Tune and optimize database queries and batch processes for performance and reliability.
• Maintain integrations across middleware, ETL pipelines, and data flows between systems.
• Support MuleSoft-based integrations including server health and middleware dependencies.
• Lead modernization efforts for legacy scheduling/automation toward enterprise platforms.
