The ideal candidate has over 6 years of experience in production systems, is adept in cloud technologies like AWS and Kubernetes, and understands reliability principles. This hybrid role excels in a collaborative environment with a focus on measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience operating and improving reliability of production systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience with SLOs/SLAs and operational readiness.
• Expertise in modern observability tooling and actionable monitoring systems.
• Ability to zoom out and design scalable solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and establish reliability standards and frameworks.
• Improve observability metrics, logging, and tracing.
• Evolve incident response practices.
• Build tooling and abstractions for reliability.
• Educate and influence engineering teams on reliability practices.
