Job summary

Backblaze is seeking a Product Marketing Manager, Platform, to own how we position and sell B2 Cloud Storage to business buyers. This high-ownership role will define the platform narrative end-to-end for backup, media, and general cloud storage use cases, and will collaborate with AI workloads.

You’ll partner with the Director of Product Marketing, the sales team, and demand gen to keep the platform story sharp and actionable at every stage of the buyer journey.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling positioning and messaging for the B2 platform.
• Own the B2 platform narrative end-to-end across surfaces.
• Build and maintain sales enablement materials: talk tracks, kits, battle cards.
• Conduct regular customer interviews and win/loss analysis.
• Partner with our AI product marketing lead to align core and AI stories.
• Partner with demand gen to brief campaigns, define ICPs, and guide messaging.
• Enable customer-facing teams with tools and context to close more deals.
• Deliver a core messaging framework and initial sales enablement audit within 90 days.
