Job summary

Backblaze is seeking a Principal Product Manager for its B2 cloud object storage. You will lead strategy, discovery and delivery, collaborating with Design, Engineering and GTM to shape the product roadmap and drive adoption.

You will translate market trends into a compelling vision, own MVPs, and set KPIs to measure success, while evangelizing Backblaze’s solutions to customers and partners in a fast-growing cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Product Management experience in tech businesses.
• Proven track record launching and scaling technical products or platforms.
• Strong grasp of cloud architecture, APIs, security and compliance.
• Ownership of product roadmaps, MVPs, and full product life cycle.
• Translate market trends and customer needs into a clear product vision.

Responsibilities

• Drive B2 product strategy and roadmap through delivery execution.
• Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from discovery to delivery.
• Synthesize inputs from customers, partners, and internal teams for discovery and prioritization.
• Translate complex customer problems into actionable product requirements with Design, Eng, and GTM teams.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to launch and drive adoption of new products.
• Act as subject matter expert and evangelist for Backblaze's solutions.
