Job summary

Backblaze, a leading cloud storage company, is seeking a Remote Full-time Senior Product Manager for its B2 product. This Principal Product Manager will define product strategy, lead discovery and delivery, and collaborate with Design, Engineering, GTM, and Marketing to build scalable cloud storage features and improve user experiences.

The role emphasizes interviewing customers, market research, and translating problems into requirements while maintaining market leadership in object storage.

Responsibilities

• Drive B2 product strategy and roadmap development through delivery execution.
• Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle from discovery through delivery in feature development.
• Gather and synthesize inputs for discovery and prioritization from internal functions, customers, and partners across R&D, including feature capabilities, UX challenges, cost optimization, and technical debt.
• Translate complex customer challenges into clear, concise, and actionable product requirements in collaboration with Design, Engineering, and GTM teams.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to launch and drive adoption of new products and features.
• Act as a subject matter expert and evangelist for Backblaze’s solutions, presenting to customers, prospects, partners, and internal teams.
• Establish and track key product metrics (KPIs), using data to guide iteration and growth decisions.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the latest advancements in the object storage market, including customer use cases and competitive offerings, to identify new opportunities and ensure Backblaze’s market leadership position.
