Job summary

Wealthsimple is seeking a Platform Product Manager for its Financial Risk platform. You will own the product vision, balancing fraud prevention with client experience, and drive the real-time decision engine and investigation tooling across withdrawals, transfers, and crypto activity.

You will partner with Fraud and Data Science to integrate models, tune rules, and reduce latency while maintaining a scalable, secure risk platform. Hybrid work across North America is offered.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of product management experience in fraud, risk, or trust & safety.
• Experience operating as a platform PM with reusable systems for other teams.
• Strong fluency in streaming architectures, workflows, and ML model integration.
• Ability to balance internal developer experience with business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and strategy for the Financial Risk platform with cost-aware tradeoffs.
• Drive the roadmap for the Decision Platform, real-time fraud risk evaluation across payments.
• Build and improve fraud investigation tooling and automations for faster case resolution.
• Define and evolve restriction/mitigation frameworks for fraud signals and suspensions.
