Job summary

Wealthsimple is a leading Canadian financial innovator building a broad suite of financial products across investing, trading, crypto, tax, spending and saving. The Financial Risk team protects Wealthsimple and its clients from fraud while enabling fast, safe money movement.

This platform PM role balances real-time interventions with investigation tooling to protect accounts and enable scalable operations. You’ll own the streaming decision engine, case management, and restriction frameworks,

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of product management experience in fraud, risk, or trust & safety
• Experience as a platform PM with API-driven systems and extensibility
• Strong technical fluency in streaming architectures, workflows, and ML model integration

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and strategy for the Financial Risk platform.
• Drive the roadmap for the Decision Platform and real-time fraud checks.
• Build and improve fraud investigation tooling and automations.
• Define restriction and mitigation frameworks for fraud signals.
• Work with Fraud and Data Science on model integration and feedback loops.
• Own risk metrics and prioritize work based on data.
