Job summary

Scale AI is seeking a Platform PM who will own the core infrastructure that underpins production workloads across FD teams. You will define the foundation, sequence work to align with customer commitments, and ensure patterns graduate to core with a trusted, high-quality platform.

The role emphasizes ownership, architectural judgment, and collaboration with platform engineering and BU leads to deliver reliable capabilities at scale.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management owning platform or developer-facing products.
• Defined and shipped platform capabilities, not just features on top of a platform.
• Strong sequencing judgment across commitments and velocity needs.
• Technical fluency to discuss infra tradeoffs with engineers.
• Extreme ownership and drive outcomes across teams.
• Clear, precise communication tailored to audience.

Responsibilities

• Define the foundation of the core platform layer across each capability pillar before reliable builds.
• Sequence work by customer commitments and FD team velocity; avoid unstable bases.
• Identify field-built patterns and decide when to graduate to core.
• Maintain a quality bar so capabilities are trusted without thinking.
• Unlock delivery team time by a secure, deployable, observable platform with agent/runtime tooling.
• Collaborate with platform engineering, FD PMs, and BU leads to align roadmaps.
