Job summary

Scale AI, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking an experienced Platform Product Manager who will own the core infrastructure that underpins all FD team work, define the foundation, and ensure reliable delivery.

You will prioritize platform work, identify patterns, maintain a high quality bar, and empower delivery teams to solve hard problems with secure, observable, and scalable primitives.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management owning platform, infrastructure, or developer-facing products at production bar.
• Strong sequencing judgment: prioritizes across commitments and velocity with incomplete information.
• Technical fluency to discuss architectural tradeoffs with platform engineers.
• Extreme ownership and follow-through: drives outcomes without reminders.
• Clear, precise communication tailored to audience (engineers, PMs, executives).

Responsibilities

• Define the foundation: core platform layer readiness before reliable builds.
• Sequence work based on customer commitments and team velocity.
• Identify patterns and graduation candidates for core platform.
• Maintain the quality bar so every capability is trusted.
• Free delivery teams to focus on hard customer problems with secure, observable platform.
• Collaborate with platform engineering, FD PMs, and BU leads to surface signals.
