Job summary

LogicBlox, Inc. is seeking a Platform Operations Manager to lead hands-on operations of the LogicBlox platform in our Atlanta headquarters.

You will build, train and mentor the operations team, manage cloud infrastructure, and ensure robust monitoring, alerting and reporting. The role emphasizes automation, deep Linux expertise and collaboration with core platform teams to improve performance and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven track record leading an operations team.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Instinct to automate everything.
• Excellent knowledge of Linux.
• Willingness to dive into state-of-the-art technologies developed by LogicBlox.
• Extensive programming experience, preferably with functional programming.
• Exceptional knowledge of Amazon AWS.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for operations of the LogicBlox platform.
• Manage the cloud infrastructure of the LogicBlox platform.
• Ensure monitoring, alerting and reporting of infrastructure.
• Identify bottlenecks, performance and security gaps and advise design.
• Evaluate new platform features and contribute to operational design.
