Job summary

Cbts is seeking a senior compute platform engineer to lead administration across Linux, Windows and Unix environments, driving secure, reliable, scalable infrastructure and continuous improvement.

You will design automation, enforce configuration standards, support incident response, and collaborate with infrastructure, cloud and platform teams to optimize performance, cost and security while maintaining audit-ready records.

Qualifications

• Experience administering Linux, Windows and Unix compute environments.
• Automation, configuration management and lifecycle maintenance experience.
• Strong incident management and root-cause analysis skills.
• Knowledge of security baseline compliance and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end administration of Linux, Windows and Unix environments including provisioning, configuration, tuning, patching and lifecycle maintenance.
• Design and implement automation scripts, repeatable workflows and runbooks to speed deployments and improve consistency.
• Resolve complex compute incidents, perform root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Support capacity planning, performance monitoring and compute cost optimization with infra, cloud and platform teams.
• Maintain security baseline compliance through hardening, access validation and audit-ready practices.
• Review changes, mentor engineers and enforce standards, documentation and operational maturity.
• Ensure change control, incident management and regulatory compliance with accurate configuration records and audit trails.
