CVS Health is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Observability Data Platform Engineering, guiding strategy, architecture, and operations across enterprise teams. You will drive reliability, ingestion, and analytics capabilities while coordinating with Product, Infrastructure, Security, and Architecture leaders.

The role demands strong leadership of large engineering organizations, deep experience with cloud platforms, and a focus on platform modernization, governance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in enterprise-scale data, platform, infrastructure, observability, or cloud engineering environments.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing high-performing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• 5+ years of experience operating large-scale cloud/hybrid platforms with reliability, monitoring, and incident management responsibilities.
• 3+ years of leading enterprise-wide engineering initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise Observability Data Platform engineering, operations, and evolution.
• Own platform reliability, scalability, availability, performance, and operational health.
• Oversee telemetry ingestion, observability data services, and platform capabilities for monitoring and analytics.
• Define and execute platform strategy and roadmap with Product, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering stakeholders.
• Drive automation, efficiency, performance optimization, capacity planning, and continuous service improvement.
• Establish engineering standards, governance, security controls, and lifecycle management for the platform.
• Champion platform adoption, stakeholder engagement, and user enablement across the enterprise.
• Lead and develop high-performing engineering teams with ownership and innovation culture.
• Manage strategic vendor relationships and technology partnerships in support of platform capabilities.
