Job summary

Candid Health is seeking an experienced Engineering Leader to support our Platform and Infrastructure teams, guiding scalability, reliability, and performance for healthcare provider customers. You will report to the Head of Engineering and work with founders and leadership to shape long-term product strategy and security commitments.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or related field.
• 6+ years in a software engineering leadership role (Senior Manager/Manager of Managers).
• Experience developing Engineering Managers and leading multiple teams.
• Proven track record building scalable, reliable distributed systems (Data & Infra).
• Strong technical decision-making and ability to balance competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Own engineering practice and deliver critical services and features.
• Lead and plan multiple teams across Production Infra, Developer Infra, and Data Engineering.
• Foster high technical quality, reliability, and developer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with product, leadership, and security teams to align strategy.
• Recruit, mentor, and grow engineers and managers.
• Define technical strategy and architecture to meet short/long-term goals.
