Job summary

Anyscale is seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Leader to guide Infrastructure, SRE and Enterprise Governance Engineering teams. You will drive vision, technical direction, and recruitment to deliver high-value distributed systems solutions for developers and customers.

The role focuses on cluster orchestration, cloud-provider integration, scaling, and reliable production systems, working closely with customers and field engineers to ensure success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee vision and technical direction of Infrastructure, SRE and Enterprise Governance Engineering teams; recruit and enable a high-performing team.
• Oversee strategy and execution for components including cluster launcher, cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure), Kubernetes support, cluster autoscaling, control plane, data plane, reliability, billing stack, and production database.
• Collaborate with customers and field engineering to understand problems and ensure successful outcomes.
