Job summary

Anyscale is seeking an experienced Platform Engineering Leader to guide Infrastructure, SRE and Enterprise Governance engineering teams in delivering scalable distributed AI tooling. You will shape the technical strategy, recruit and mentor a high-performing team, and partner with customers to solve complex challenges.

  • Track record of scaling teams while maintaining culture and quality.
  • Ability to hire, coach, and manage performance.
  • Deep knowledge of distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong execution focus and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive vision and technical direction for Infrastructure, SRE, and Governance teams.
  • Oversee strategy and execution for cluster launcher, cloud providers, Kubernetes support, autoscaling, control/data planes, and billing stacks.
  • Collaborate with customers and field engineers to ensure success and address challenges.
