Job summary

Panorama Education in the United States is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager, Platform to lead a team of senior and staff platform engineers. You will guide architecture, infrastructure, and developer tooling to keep our platform robust, scalable, and secure as we scale AI workloads.

You will partner with product, security, and operations to own the platform roadmap, manage on-call practices, and ensure compliance with FERPA and SOC 2.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software engineering with 5+ years in people leadership.
• Hands-on credibility with cloud platforms, esp. AWS; Terraform/Kubernetes preferred.
• Experience partnering with product, security, and operations to deliver shared roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of senior and staff platform engineers.
• Guide architecture, infrastructure, and developer tooling decisions.
• Own platform delivery from planning to production with health metrics.
• Establish strong on-call and incident management practices (SRE).
• Collaborate with AI, security, and product teams to align platform goals.
• Shape and prioritize the platform roadmap with product management.
• Provide transparent updates and represent platform engineering in cross-team initiatives.
• Ensure security, privacy, and regulatory compliance, incl. FERPA and SOC 2.
