Job summary

Panorama Education is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager for Platform to lead and grow a senior/staff platform team. You will shape architecture, drive delivery, and ensure secure, scalable infrastructure as Panorama expands its AI-powered capabilities.

You will partner with a Lead Product Manager to set direction, work with security and legal, and maintain high standards for reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across the platform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing engineers on platform/infrastructure
• Hands-on AWS; Terraform and Kubernetes experience
• Experience with SOC 2 and FERPA security/compliance
• Collaborates with product and security teams to align roadmaps

Responsibilities

• Lead the platform engineering team of senior and staff engineers.
• Define architecture and tradeoffs across infrastructure and shared services.
• Own delivery and platform health from planning to production.
• Support AI workloads with observable, cost-aware infrastructure.
• Partner with Product to turn strategy into buildable plans.
• Represent platform engineering across teams and drive cross-team alignment.
• Keep security, privacy, and compliance at the forefront of all work.
