Job summary

Palo Alto Networks, Inc. seeks a Principal AI Platform Engineer to build tooling for managing a large hybrid infrastructure used with GCP, AWS, and more. You will drive automation, architecture design, monitoring, security, and reliability, while leveraging AI and DevOps ontology to empower the platform.

You’ll work with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and other technologies, learning what’s needed to succeed in this role and mentoring DevOps teams for robust, production-grade services.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficient in Linux internals and network troubleshooting.
• Advanced coding skills in Python, Go, or Rust.
• Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
• Ability to lead design reviews and mentor teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate reliable cloud infrastructure at scale.
