Job summary

Brivo, Inc. is seeking a Platform Engineering Manager to lead the design and operation of a global, Kubernetes-based platform across private data centers.

You will guide topology, storage, networking, and compute utilization to support thousands of customers while mentoring a team of Platform Engineers. You will own the Internal Developer Experience (IDP) including CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and standardized environments, partnering with application teams to accelerate feature delivery for

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Platform/Infrastructure Engineering with a leadership role.
• Kubernetes expert with production-scale design and operations.
• Distributed systems experience for stateful workloads and data sovereignty.
• Automation mastery: Helm, Terraform, Ansible, and GitOps tools.
• Strong cross-team communication and leadership to influence architecture.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, evolution, and operation of Brivo’s global Kubernetes-based platform across private data centers.
• Direct architecture decisions for cluster topology, networking, storage, and compute to support thousands of customers.
• Drive improvements to core platform components (ingress, service mesh, runtimes, automation).
• Manage and mentor Platform Engineers, providing technical leadership and career development.
• Own IDP tooling like CI/CD, Helm charts, and deployment processes; partner with app teams for faster feature delivery.
