Job summary

Verra Mobility Corporation seeks a Director of Software Engineering to lead the Platform portfolio, owning technology strategy and end-to-end delivery outcomes for multiple squads. You will drive architecture, migrations, data governance, and security across multi-tenant systems while aligning with product leadership.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in software engineering, 5+ years leading teams, and fluency with .NET/C#, Java, cloud platforms, REST/GraphQL, and modern data security practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering delivering enterprise systems.
• 5+ years leading multiple teams or squads through Managers and Tech Leads.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience required.

Responsibilities

• Own Portfolio technology strategy and end-to-end delivery outcomes for the Platform squads.
• Identify reuse opportunities and avoid duplicated effort with Platform team and Senior Enterprise Architect.
• Lead live system migrations and legacy platform transitions with cutover sequencing and rollback planning.
• Govern data architecture, data lineage, security and multi-tenant compliance across jurisdictions.
• Review and approve new contracts and bids for technical feasibility and delivery constraints.
• Develop technical leaders and ensure succession across the portfolio.
