Job summary

Phizenix Inc. seeks a senior platform/infra engineer to lead the design and operation of a production-grade platform. You will build runtime, tenancy isolation, and modular contracts across services, while enabling repeatable, governance-driven deployment pipelines.

You will define identity, network security, and observability strategies, and drive adoption of platform standards across product teams to improve developer outcomes and governance posture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software engineering, platform or infra engineering.
• Hands-on IaC at fleet scale with Terraform or OpenTofu.
• Experience operating multi-tenant Kubernetes in production.
• Experience building CI/CD as a shared platform with reusable workflows.
• Strong cloud identity and network security expertise across Azure/AWS/GCP.
• Security and compliance as code with SOC2 / ISO 27001 evidence.

Responsibilities

• Build the platform runtime with container orchestration and tenancy-grade isolation.
• Design composable infrastructure as code at fleet scale, with versioned templates and images.
• Make environment lifecycle one-command: merge PRs, delete env, with automated cleanup.
• Design federated identity and network as a credential-free system.
• Ship telemetry and cost visibility with SLOs, alerting, and fault injection.
• Operate shared delivery pipelines and a gate framework for quality, security, and AI governance checks.
• Push platform standards across product teams and enable migrations onto the platform.
