Job summary

Phizenix is seeking a Sr Developer to lead design, development, and deployment of scalable web applications and enterprise solutions. You will provide technical leadership across the software life cycle, architect cloud-native applications, mentor teams, and drive engineering best practices using Python, React.js, Java/Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• 8+ years backend Python development experience.
• 5+ years frontend development with React.js.
• Extensive Java and Spring Boot experience.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Strong PostgreSQL/SQL Server/Oracle experience.
• NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB) experience.
• AWS services (S3, EC2, Lambda, SQS, RDS).
• Experience leading Agile teams and Jira practices.
• Strong architectural and leadership capabilities.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and deployment of Python-based enterprise solutions.
• Provide technical leadership across the SDLC and mentor teams.
• Architect, build, and maintain scalable web apps, APIs, and cloud-native solutions.
• Lead quality practices: TDD, code reviews, security standards.
• Drive Agile and DevSecOps adoption across teams.
