Ludus is seeking a Platform Engineer to build and maintain scalable infrastructure, ensuring reliability and performance for a growing SaaS platform. The role focuses on migrating to AWS, automating deployments, and strengthening observability while collaborating with a fast-moving engineering team.

You will work with PHP/Laravel stacks, Linux, Nginx, Docker, and Terraform, contributing to infrastructure strategy and on-call incident handling.

Qualifications

• Experience in designing and maintaining scalable, high-performing infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage databases, backups, read replicas, and monitoring.
• Strong background in Linux servers, deployment automation, and security practices.

Responsibilities

• Migrate infrastructure from Digital Ocean to AWS.
• Automate infrastructure and configuration management.
• Manage database integrity with backups, replicas, and monitoring.
• Architect, monitor, and troubleshoot system infrastructure.
• Develop operational support for full-stack applications.
• Plan capacity, test performance, and optimize systems.
• Support fault tolerance, disaster recovery, and incident response.
• Oversee release management and deployment automation.
• Ensure network/server security across multiple servers.
• Improve observability with alerts and monitoring tools.
