Job summary

Remanence is recruiting for a Member of Technical Staff — Platform Engineering to advance a production-grade platform across on-prem and customer-owned clouds. The role blends platform engineering, deployment infrastructure, and distributed systems to deliver reliable, upgradeable deployments in security-conscious environments.

You will own CI/CD, upgrade paths, and tooling, while collaborating with Infrastructure and Research teams to enable scalable, auditable deployments and easy adoption for

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with Kubernetes and Terraform is required.
• Experience deploying software into enterprise, regulated, or security-sensitive environments is valuable.
• Ability to turn deployment scripts into a repeatable product.

Responsibilities

• Package the full Remanence stack for deployment on-premise and in customer-owned clouds across AWS, GCP, Azure, and bare-metal infrastructure.
• Build and maintain the Infrastructure-as-Code and deployment layer using Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes operators.
• Design for air-gapped installations, private registries, restricted networking, and enterprise security requirements.
• Own CI/CD, release engineering, and upgrade paths; automate installations, migrations, rollbacks.
• Build observability, diagnostics, and support tooling for deployments with limited customer access.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure and Research teams on sandboxed execution, distributed job orchestration, and GPU scheduling.
