Job summary

You will grow and empower a high-ownership team, translate requirements into sequenced outcomes, and ensure platform availability and reliability with robust incident response. This role blends design depth with leadership scope.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in engineering management and team development.
• Experience building and operating cloud platforms or distributed systems.
• Strong production-change risk assessment and incident handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the cloud-platform roadmap.
• Lead IaC, networking, storage, compute, and service mesh platforms.
• Translate needs into sequenced outcomes balancing investment and delivery.
• Make infrastructure repeatable and self-service.
• Enable internal teams to provision infrastructure without bespoke coordination.
• Own platform availability, upgrades, isolation, and incident remediation.
• Maintain clear SLOs and on-call coverage.
• Review designs and production changes and debug failures.
