Job summary

EarnIn is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate agentic systems and core infrastructure powering our platform. You will work across Kubernetes (AWS EKS), GitOps (Argo CD), CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and our developer portal (Cortex) to reduce toil and increase platform leverage for engineering teams.

As a senior engineer, you will re-architect components, adopt new technologies, and collaborate with Staff engineers to align with the broader technical direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years in cloud infrastructure, high-availability distributed systems.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading platform initiatives.
• Hands-on experience building AI-driven production systems and agentic workflows.
• Experience with AI-enabled incident diagnosis, self-service, and CI/CD improvements.

Responsibilities

• AI-Agent Design and Build: design, build, and operate AI agents in production with governance and IaC practices.
• Technical Execution: implement agentic patterns for cloud infra and mentor others.
• Platform Operations: maintain high-availability systems on AWS, improve observability and automation.
• Developer Platform: evolve Cortex and AI-powered self-service for engineers.
• Reliability and Documentation: document architecture and run on-call rotations for reliability.
