Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design and deliver features across the Workshop Studio platform. You will work across service boundaries, contribute to AI agent systems, and own production reliability including oncall and incident reviews.

You will collaborate with a team across Austin, Houston, Jersey City, and New York, using Python, TypeScript, and Go, to scale services and improve customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of design or architecture experience for large scale systems.
• 1+ years building multi‑tiered distributed software.

Responsibilities

• Build features across WS services from requirements to production.
• Participate in oncall rotation and investigate incidents.
• Work on AI agent systems: integrations, data pipelines, infrastructure.
• Build APIs for WS account provisioning consumption.
• Create and review technical designs; incorporate feedback.
• Reduce operational toil with automation, alarms, runbooks.
• Mentor junior engineers via code reviews and pairing.
