Job summary

Client is seeking a Cloud Engineering Lead to guide a cloud engineering team responsible for secure, scalable cloud solutions in a heavily regulated setting. You will partner with architecture, security, and app teams to drive modernization and efficiency while mentoring team members.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, hands-on architecture oversight, and career development in a remote, US-based environment with DoD-impact projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 12+ years in relevant roles.
• Proven experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• Expertise designing and deploying cloud solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with Identity Access Management (IDAM) solutions such as AzureAD and CyberArk.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of federal security requirements including NIST, FedRAMP, and FISMA.
• Strong communication skills for distributed teams.
• Current IAT Level II certification, such as Security+ or CISSP.

For our client, we are seeking a Cloud Engineering Lead to join the team of a leader in the Technical Services space.

This role will guide a cloud engineering team responsible for designing and delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions in support of mission-critical work. You will partner with architecture, security, and application teams to advance cloud modernization, improve efficiency, and strengthen enterprise capabilities. The position combines technical leadership, hands-on architecture oversight, and team mentorship in a highly regulated environment.

Location: Remote – US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $131,300 – $237,350 annually
