Job summary

HopSkipDrive is seeking a hands-on Platform/DevOps leader to guide a team through AWS-centric architecture and scalable infrastructure. You will own the AWS platform end-to-end, including IaC, Kubernetes, CI/CD, environments, observability, and cost optimization.

The role emphasizes on-call readiness, incident response, and scaling the platform while adopting AI coding agents to streamline the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineer with leadership experience in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with on-call, incident response and platform growth.
• Familiarity with AI coding agents in the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Platform and DevOps engineers.
• Own AWS platform end-to-end: IaC, Kubernetes, CI/CD, environments, observability and cloud costs.
• Incorporate AI-assisted coding within the development lifecycle.
