Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Platform Customer Engineer to partner with technical Sales teams and differentiate Google Cloud to customers. You will be the customer’s primary technical partner, handling proofs of concepts, architecture design, and cross-pillar solutions to meet business needs.

You’ll focus on new business opportunities and existing workloads, leveraging Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace to drive technical adoption and successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
• Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
• Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and win new business workloads and drive penetration within existing ones.
• Architect cross-pillar cloud solutions leveraging Gemini Enterprise.
• Drive technical adoption of Gemini Enterprise and manage proofs-of-concept for AI agents (no-code and code-based).
• Share Google Workspace expertise to support technical relationships with customers and partners; coordinate and prioritize solutions.
• Educate partners and customers on Google Workspace and Gemini Enterprise to drive innovation and market adoption.
