Job summary

Google is seeking a Platform Customer Engineer to partner with technical Sales and differentiate Google Cloud for SMBs. You will be the primary technical partner, handling proofs of concepts and cross-pillar cloud solutions to address customer challenges.

You will drive technical wins, define delivery plans, and engage with business leaders. The role spans infrastructure modernization, data analytics, and enterprise productivity solutions to push adoption of Google Cloud products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
4+ years of cloud native architecture experience in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
Experience engaging with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

Identify and qualify business opportunities and resolve technical blockers.
Architect solutions leveraging Gemini Enterprise to automate complex workflows.
Drive technical adoption and manage proofs-of-concept for AI agents on the platform.
Share Google Workspace expertise to support relationships with customers and partners.
Educate customers on leveraging agentic capabilities and third-party integrations to drive market success.
