Job summary

Google LLC seeks a Platform Customer Engineer to partner with technical Sales teams and differentiate Google Cloud for customers. You will act as the primary technical partner, troubleshoot, run proofs of concept, and architect cross-pillar cloud solutions that address business issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
Experience with cloud engineering, on-premise engineering, virtualization, or containerization platforms.
Experience working with, or presenting to, technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
Experience in programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, demos, or customer workshops.

Responsibilities

Partner with technical Sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud for customers.
Serve as the customer’s technical partner and trusted advisor in technical-led conversations.
Troubleshoot questions, run proofs of concepts and demos, architect cross-pillar cloud solutions.
Define delivery and consumption plans, engage leaders, and present practical solutions.
Lead technical engagement, drive technical wins, and guide post-sales transitions to implementation.
